Dux-Soup 2019 Highlights

That was the year that was

What better time to bring you a festive round up of some of the highlights of our blog series in 2019.

And what a year it’s been! We’ve published 61 articles (well 62 if you count this one) ranging from super informative user insights into how Dux-Soup is used at the coal face, to mega useful ‘How to’ manuals and product tips.

And the fun didn’t stop there – our webinar series ran like clockwork every 2 weeks, providing practical help, partner presentations and the basics of getting started with Dux-Soup. If you missed any watch them here.

At the beginning of the year when we launched the webinar series we were getting 50-200 registrations per event; we’re now regularly getting over 600 for each webinar which we think shows you find them useful!

So, sit back, and relax as we take you on a whistle-stop tour of Dux-Soup’s 2019 highlights.

January

It’s generally acknowledged that January is a pretty boring month – all your money has been spent over the holidays and it’s a looooong time until Spring. At Dux that theory went right out of the window as we launched the all new Dux-Soup Turbo!

This cutting-edge tool was the first LinkedIn automation tool to use the Zapier automation and workflow engine. With this Zapier integration, users can now connect Dux-Soup to their existing CRM, marketing or recruitment platform, enabling the automated workflows that underpin cutting edge online marketing campaign management.

If you haven’t tried Turbo why not give it a go with our 7-day free trial.

February

With sales of Turbo far exceeding expectations (yay!) we then launched a new interface in February, making it easier to use the Dux-Soup tool.

This went down a treat with users and provided a great new look and feel to the product.

March

No mad march hares here – instead our good friend Gino Taselaar at Spike Growth Marketing wrote a ‘playbook’ that offers a plain speaking and practical guide to combining LinkedIn automation with Sales Navigator to enhance your lead generation efforts (the same also applies for LinkedIn Recruiter too).

This guide to automating your LinkedIn outreach strategy for lead generation was the start of a new blog category called User Insights.

Our amazing users have so much to share about growth hacking – it’s truly awesome!

April

At Dux we always try to make sure everything is explained and made clear – that’s why we have the reputation of having the best Support in the business!

Feeling that how to use Zapier was potentially daunting for some people this blog showed you how to set up Filters and Delays on Zapier to improve your messaging with Dux-Soup. Web hooks were also  also demystified with this useful article.

May

The sun was shining, and we published another user’s insights as to how to use the all new Turbo tool.

This practical guide has a step by step account of of how to use Dux-Soup Turbo to set your led generation to autopilot!

The playbook goes into detail as to how you can automate as much of the prospecting process as possible, so you have more time left to spend on closing deals and enjoying life! Hey, you know our #1 goal at Dux is to make things easier for you 😊.

June

In June we were super excited to have LinkedIn lead gen legend Melanie Dodaro guest blog for us. Her totally useful 5 essential steps to lead generation on LinkedIn was one of the year’s highlights and well worth a read.

Melanie is a preeminent authority on social selling on LinkedIn and the author of the #1 bestselling book LinkedIn Unlocked. She is also the CEO of Top Dog Social Media, a company specializing in B2B social selling on LinkedIn. Melonie’s superpower is creating strategies that turn cold connections into clients.

We were honoured to have you Melanie!

July

No snoozing on a sunbed for Team Dux!

With the new version of Dux-Soup that launched this month your follow-up messages could now be automatically stopped if someone responded. This means you could now set up an automated flow of follow-up messages and templates to educate and help your LinkedIn connections so that they were more likely to speak with you.

Truly useful stuff to enhance your lead gen and of course we published a handy step by step guide to hand hold you through the set-up process

August

Security was top of mind for us as the summer drew to a close.

With recent events, where several LinkedIn automation tools were being detected and banned by LinkedIn, our primary concern was ensuring that you can use Dux-Soup safely.

As a result, our tech team worked super hard to make the tool extra secure - so you can use Dux without fear of getting your LinkedIn account suspended. (I bet LinkedHelper and Meet Leonard wished they had had our awesome team!)

September

Excuse us while we do a bit of self-congratulatory back slapping. But we think that’s allowed as Dux-Soup was named by top San Diego-based digital marketing agency Ignite Visibility as a Leading Digital Marketing Software in their Ignite 100 list.

The list is designed to help businesses of all sizes and within all industries find the software that best fits their needs and represents the very best the digital marketing world has to offer, from SEO and paid media to social media, email marketing automation, analytics, funnels and more.

October

Dux-Soup super user Zeb Pirkey of Pound Social wrote an awesome guide on how to automate your LinkedIn. It’s packed with insight, tips and tricks about using Dux-Soup and other tools to:

Source

Engage

Manage

Drive

Close

Fantastic stuff that’s spot on for growth hackers everywhere! Our users are truly awesome!

November

Straight after Halloween we published a series of three articles – the Good, the Bad and the Future of Growth Hacking. For this we had the help of Ward van Gasteren, one of Europe’s leading growth hackers. His informative series highlighted the best LinkedIn growth hacks that work brilliantly right now, growth hacks that seem to work, but will eventually come back to haunt you and what’s coming up in growth hacking.

And before you ask – of COURSE Dux-Soup was in the working brilliantly right now category!

December

No slowing down at all for Dux as we steam towards the end of the year. Topics this month have ranged from why following up MUST be your #1 priority (and how Dux can help) through to building a simple lead tracking dashboard.

We are super excited about 2020 and all it will bring in the world of Dux-Soup, LinkedIn automation and growth hacking. We hope you are too!
